Fire code concerns - All IRIS Solar System units come with state-of-the-art, custom designed, fully automated, interior and exterior foam systems. The interior uses a Class "A" foam similar to airport foam systems. It is an 8-gpm system operating at 45 psi or more and uses a 3/4" forestry hose and conserves water.

For the exterior, the system is automated and uses infrared cameras and a Class A fire retardant gel system that becomes a flame proof surface gel as it dries. The interior system can also be used outside the unit. The foam unit can be replaced by a patented turbo nozzle that is imported from France.
